+ BARISTA (Part Time)

As a Barista, you are the core of our business and are responsible for crafting and serving our amazing beverages with friendly, personalized attention towards every customer in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, we are in the business of delivering Happiness, to our employees, customers and community.

FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

  • Provide an exceptional experience to each and every customer
  • Memorizing and following our drink recipes & presentation instructions
  • Operate cash register and cash handling functions
  • Follow health and safety guidelines
  • Perform regular cleaning or scheduled work from checklist during shift
  • Assist with order deliveries, restocking and following shop checklist as needed
  • Having punctual attendance and ability to work 15 hours (3 shifts) per week
  • Contribute to team environment
  • Have a positive upbeat attitude
  • Passion for coffee and serving amazing drinks!
  • Willingness to learn
  • Flexible schedule to work within our shifts, including weekends & holidays
  • Following all company policies and procedures as laid out in the Employee Handbook

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent standing, walking and reaching around equipment for up to 10 hours
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional ascending or descending on ladders and ramps
  • Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine
  • Constantly receiving detailed information through oral communication
  • Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances
  • Constant cash handling requiring mental math
  • Constant talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of verbal communication
  • Noise level may be moderate to high at times.
